Torq Xponent
I’ve purchased a new toy, the Torq Xponent. After playing a couple of hours with it, all I can say: I’m not a pro. I need more practice (You will notice it…) Anyway, I got a lot of music the last weeks so I wanted to upload this mix after I recorded it 4 times. Next one will be better!

My girlfriend is a drumnbass addict and made me rediscover this style of music. Over the last months I tried to get back into it and gathered some brilliant tunes to tape a mix. Starting off with a new intro and 27 wicked tracks, this mix made it to over one hour length!

The summer is over, and I actually enjoy it. LA can be pretty exhausting with all that sun and no reason to stay at home. But there ain’t no better than a night at home with st pauli girl beer and a mix to tape! This one goes from Dubstep to DrumNBass. Woop woop!

I want to use this opportunity to point out some of my most favourite Twitter and Myspace pages. All of these are about electronic music events in LA from Dubstep over Electro to DrumNBass.

Dubstep in Los Angeles
I’ve been in LA now for longer than 3 months and I must confess that I love the undergound scene for electronic music here. Dubstep is a big thing in LA and that kinda influenced my last mix. So make sure your sound system can handle some bassy tunes! 27 tracks ftw!
